CEO & Co-founder of Selltag
May 2014 – September 2015
On 2014 I joined Selltag to lead the company on their vision of offering people the best experience to buy & sell anything on the Internet.
We created a web and mobile marketplace where users could buy and sell with trust as all ads were being reviewed. We took care of the shipment and payment to remove all friction and insecurities. Our shipment partner went to the seller's and took the item to the buyer's in 24h.
We reached over 250,000 people in Spain who traded items valued in over 400,000€. On October 2015 we decided to shut down the company.
CTO & Co-founder of TouristEye
September 2009 – April 2014
My co-founder Ariel Camus and I started thinking about TouristEye in the summer of 2009. We created a great travel guide for web, iOS and Android; used by over 400.000 registered travelers to plan their trips in seconds to over 30.000 destinations all around the world.
I was the CTO managing a team of 8 people, I developed all the backend and API and I defined the user flow to achieve a praised user experience both on web and mobile.
TouristEye raised two rounds of investment from American and European investors, including 500 Startups and Plug and Play.
Lonely Planet, the largest travel media company in the world, bought the company in October 2013. I was responsable of migrating all the technology, knowledge, content, user info and people to the new teams and products that Lonely Planet is going to launch through 2014.
